Where do you source packing materials from?

My packing supplies come from a myriad of places! Flat mailers, 6x6x6 boxes, paper tape and green wrap are all from eco enclose ! Apart from what I order from Eco Enclose, the vast majority of my supplies are reused/repurposed. I get these from a “free packaging” bin at the studio I work out of, from friends and family, and from things that I have ordered! All bubble wrap or plastic that you find in my packaging is from these sources, as well as many of the boxes I ship in. I encourage you to find a way to reuse them if possible too, let’s keep the cycle going! All packaging from eco-enclose is curbside recyclable!

Where do you ship to?

United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, Philippines, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, France, Austria , Sweden, Luxembourg, Armenia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Romania, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Puerto Rico

* If you do not see your country listed, contact me through email and I will see about adding it to my lists!

International Shipping/ Shipping to the EU (VAT policy)

International packages generally make it through customs just fine, but depending on the value of your order, it may be held in customs until cleared (this can vary based on your country). All orders shipped to the EU will get held in customs before being cleared .Please understand that if you are an international customer, you are responsible for paying any customs fees/duties/taxes once it reaches your country in order to retrieve your package. This means keeping tabs on your order and checking the tracking so it doesn’t accidentally get returned to me due to being neglected at customs

Why is my shipping so expensive?

International shipping is costly these days, USPS shipping prices have increased to many countries around the world. ! Domestic orders are sent through USPS (usually First Class Package, however some are sent through Priority Mail due to weight restrictions). International orders 4lbs and under are sent through USPS First Class International - this covers the vast majority of my packages. If the overall international package weight is over 4lbs and must be sent through priority, I may send you an email to cover any further shipping costs. If you do not wish to cover the remainder of the shipping, your order will be refunded to you! Domestic shipping prices are constantly fluctuating and I do my best to keep up with them, but overall the weight of ceramics makes shipping costly.

*** Please note that I do not make income off of shipping! My shipping prices not only cover postage but a very small amount of packaging costs.

When will my order ship?

Please allow at least 3-5 business days for your order to be sent out! Though I will likely get to it within 1-3 business days. Shipping times vary by location and potential delays due to COVID, please allow up to 2 weeks for domestic and 4-8 weeks for international.

I live in Birmingham, can I pick my order up?

Absolutely! At checkout, you can select “local pick up” as your fulfillment option. I will email you after receiving your order and we can arrange for a pick up time during my studio hours at MakeBham. Please note, this is a private studio and all pick ups will occur outside in the courtyard. Please wear a mask while picking up for both your safety and mine :)

Returns/Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of my work, I do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is an issue with your order please contact me at jenkiesstudio@gmail.com ! DMs often get lost or sent to requests with no notification, please contact me directly so we can work together to solve the problem! :)

If you have an international order and it is returned to me, you can either pay postage again and I will attempt to resend it (given the items contained are undamaged). If you do not wish to have it resent, I will refund the cost of the items to you.
